Quite interesting about the fake reviews, and whatever scheme is being utilized to spot them. It is especially interesting to me because in my business I buy a lot of products that are used for clients, and I am asked to answer questions about those products, as well as write reviews. Since I always evaluate product specifications prior to purchase the reviews generally are good. The whole concept of fake reviews looks like a source of fraud, and may even be covered by laws. Amazon needs to be careful.
Emotions will only take you so far. Beyond that point some rational logic is needed. When an emotion driven rise runs out of confidence the game is over.
When we look at a large event, like the Boston Marathon, and we wonder how the second half of the participants are doing, it does us no good to look at how the first five are doing. I see a similarity to that here. Consider all of those smaller companies not doing so immensely well that did not make it into the S&P list because of size or profits. A small-cap company is not one of those giants, and so it may not follow a similar trajectory.
OF COURSE!! Emotion driven actions frequently are regretted a bit later, and the temporary euphoria will lapse as the chemicals are displaced. And what goes up must eventually come back down, (except for the national debt and CEO's pay.)
Surrounding those mountains are always the plains, and so unless there is a actual increase in real value, all gains are eventually "corrected."
why should anyone believe that Powell or any of the others there are at all concerned about the vast majority of the population of the US? Inflation robs those of us who are unable to adjust their incomes magicaly to compensate for it.
And how many of those folks with $40M of assets will be hurt at all if they fail to grow to $50M by next week?? The rest of the nation is different from Wall Street!.
Constant increasing of the wealth of the wealthy is just like supporting any other kind of addict. (I am not advocating taking away, only pausing the growth push so that others may be helped.)
And the new president with the goal of wildly flinging cash at all comers clearly does not understand much about cause and effect, does he??? Aiding those in desperate need is good, giving to those not in need is a waste of assets and serves no benefit.
How about a text presentation instead of a video? Much easier to absorb. Or are they done as a fast moving video to make copying the content much more difficult??
The big challenge to geting rich in a bull market is knowing when the cloud of buyers waiting to be fleeced will dry up and vanish, and selling ones shares to them just before that happens. Predicting the inadequarely predictable with enough accuracy probably requires a great deal of luck, and sometimes that luck is misunderstood and presumed to finally be the gift of great insight.
So the larger challenge is to understand when one has been very lucky, and to not presume that one has gained the ultimate insight instead.

I much prefer a text presentation as it allows taking in and understanding at ones own pace instead of having to listen at a full run.

Intteresting and informative as always, V.L. And it seems that the news is rather encouraging as well. Thanks for the good article.
