The federal reserve people have been manipulating the USA currency for many years, making errors all along the way, and much of the timer pushing in the wrong direction. That is what clowns do as part of the clown business. In spite of that fumbling manipulation the country has done fairly well, but not quite excellently for all. Perhaps if the goal had not been constant inflation the bottom 30% of the economic level folks would be better off. There will always be a bottom 30%, but if they were closer to the middle 30% it would be better.
And the detailed report on the rise and fall of many reminds us that weare still in a dynamic situation.
Looking at the giants will show you what the giants are doing but it will not give you information about what the non-giants are doing. I have said that before, it is still true
This shortage and the resultant shifts in production are due to incorrect analysis of the demands causing unfortunate decisions in several long term plans and programs. The fact is that the production of the much more complex chip devices is not something that can be quickly changed. Setting up and adjusting that production capability is a very complex operation that can not be rushed. Making matters more challenging, many of the complex "chips" are single sourced, meaning that there is no alternative source available.
It seems that the interactions of logic and emotions produces an oscillation waveform that might possibly be predictable. But how repeatable? Certainly it is a bit believable that there is some predictable relationship between the past and the future. Clearly the trick towards knowing when to sell would be the ability to see when the second derivative of the curve changes sign. So at that point the hard part would be guessing the math function of the curve, so that the second derivative could be calculated. ( I am using calculus terminology, not stock market terminology here.)
It is still not quite clear what would happen if bitcoin would somehow stay stable while the federal reserve bank clowns diluted the value of the dollar way below rational thinking levels. Where would that leave those like me, whose assets are all in USD? Suddenly being broke just does not sound at all like a good time, with the sad part being that it was strictly caused by others electing to be stupid. I know that is a harsh assertion, but how else can it be said?
