moreAuthor of Globanomics. Jim has nearly fifty years of professional experience in the development of management information and analytical business decision support systems. Broadly disciplined with exceptional experience. Education includes an MBA from the Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania, an MPA in public finance from Indiana University; and a BA in mathematics from Hanover College. As a young man, I served as a nuclear trained officer on a U.S. fleet ballistic missile submarine during the Cold War.
In terms of articles relating to finance, economics, and the markets I am writing exclusively for TalkMarkets. I have published novels of both fiction and nonfiction, including: Globanomics, Crush Depth Alert; The Sowers Seeds; Champion Standing, Before Monarchs Flap Their Wings, and The Cold War Submariner (1969-1973). Just How Screwed Up Obama's Thinking Is Or Was
In that case invest in the United States and buy an index fund for the S&P 500. You also might want to get a smaller index fund of the Russell 2000 to go along with your S&P 500 one. When globanomics gets to be the norm, buy an index fund of the Global 500 or Global 2000. These are the best and safest investments that you can make. If you want, i will tell you what investments funds i invest in. Last year my investments went up nearly 40% and that was from a fund geared mostly towards the NASDAQ. This year i split my investments up into two different big company U.S. funds and i am doing well again, beating both the DOW and the S&P averages--again.
Politics and investing--i am learning the two should never meet. I find it curious that on a business, economic, and investment front that one cannot critic the policies used by either a democrat or a republican. As a financial conservative democrat (did you know that one even existed) i reserve the right to continue to criticize so-called "investment" decisions that i think are counter to the betterment of the United States (e.g. TARP, infrastructure without balancing the budget).
Go ahead and erase me from those who you read if you think i am too political. I am sure you will find other "blogs" on TalkMarkets who will tell you Gamestop is a good investment--and they won't mention political policy at all. I doubt if you will hear anyone talking about "balancing the budget" because that has only been done about three times in the last fifty-years.
I have been accused as a "niche" blogger and that might be true. After all, globanomics is really what i am all about. And globanomics as the word implies is a "global economic and financial" concept that will bring a smarter way for the totality of global investments to be made. It is good for the world. It is good for the United States, China, Europe, etc. It is also good for investors. Globanomics even claims business is superior to economics.
I am sorry, but for the time being, i think i will stay with my TalkMarkets blog. If the editors of TalkMarkets and the readers of my "blogs" think i am just too political to touch, then so be it My readership will drop off to nothing and i will just be ranting to myself, which btw, is not a bad way to go.
Respectfully.
Embryos Of Globanomics And Some Of Its Principals
I have about 1100 followers altogether. Approximately 80% of those followers are following exactly 85 and 35 people--no more, no less. I noticed that you were following 528 people so i do not believe that you fall in the same category as most of my TalkMarket followers.

My wife and i live on a $45,000 a year budget which is made up of social security and the retirement investment savings we have. We can make it the age of 100 before our investments run out, assuming no annual return. When i complained to TalkMarkets that they were not paying us for the articles we write, i received all kinds of backlash. More bad comments than ever before. Some even said they felt little of my pain for being poor in their eyes because of my M.B.A. and M.P.A. degrees. F--- them i said in response.
I do not apologize for my questioning of TalkMarkets because my wife and i are part of the middle class that you mentioned that feel we have enough to live nicely. Of course, we own our own house, so we don't pay a mortgage, and because i make no money we pay no taxes, no kids to any longer support, so our $45,000 gets us along fine.
I do believe Biden is working to fix some of the equity problems, so i keep pushing globanomics, hoping Obama will pick up the torch as part of his retirement.
Embryos Of Globanomics And Some Of Its Principals
Thank you for your kind comments--they are greatly appreciated. Based upon your interest, i thought you might find the following link to something I wrote Wednesday, but TalkMarkets did not publish, saying that i had only a "niche" audience for the material. Just the same, here is the link to the article that is out on my TalkMarkets "blog" site. Personally, i was surprised TalkMarkets did not publish it. It's called the Curriculum for a Globanomacist.

Hugs And Kisses
Supposedly this is true because I have heard from more than one major news source, but Trump during an interview with Fox said that what went on Janaruary 6, 2021 was like "hugs and kisses" between the rioters and the police. Now, I ask you,--what does that say about that person.
David Marshall's Article
I am a bit confused and do not understand the point of your comment. I know i can pick and choose to follow whomever i want. I say i am following a few, but in truth, i am following no one.
Nothing Is So Wrong That It Cannot Be Fixed-Globanomics
First of all i would like to thank you for your nice comment regarding my Price-Earnings blog as referenced by David Marshall in his Talkmarkets article yesterday. That price-earnings thing is rather significant news in terms of world economics and business activity. It also supports my theory which i call globanomics, which you can learn more by googling the term (if you want).
I was caught a little off guard with your comment on this particular blog, however. Not many people see my blogs and i am always surprised when the subject of payment comes up, it tends to get backlash, even of the mildest kind--like yours. The information that i see on Talkmarkets is of the most valuable kind and i just simply do not understand why Talkmarkets cannot make money from it. If not through advertising, then through selling access.
Are You Still Alive?
Not yet. I doubt if they believe in my value any more than you do. But I can live with that.
At least i know i am and will continue to be earn "ZERO"-- that is more than most of the other TalkMarketers.who are waiting for the "profits" to start rolling in.
I have a question for you. Why have you even bothered reading my articles and posts? You seem to be the only one. My assumption is this: it gives you a good laugh.
There is no need for a response.
Steps To Get To 99,9%
I guess then that leaves "globanomics" to do it all. Pitiful.
I do understand that the implementation of "globanomics" does take time, but i do not understand why it is being kept a secret from the public. It no longer seems to be a secret to China. I tried my best this past week to contact the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, The Atlantic, etc. etc. etc., but received no response.
I think i am going to order the book "Nation of Sheep". I read a review this morning and it sounds to me like it talks about the U.S. public's total lack of knowledge of foreign policy and affairs. I think it is time to enlighten our voting public--including Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul.
