The Palladium Gold Ratio is one indicator we used over a year ago to indicate 2013′s economic growth spurt. While the ratio is looking wobbly, a new down signal would only begin with a drop below the lower of the two moving averages and be confirmed by an eventual cross of the moving averages.

On Friday the January Employment report revealed a net increase of 113k jobs for the month, well below the 175k-185k consensus. However the buyers came out right from the opening bell, negating the Monday sell-off, marking the first positive weekly close since the beginning of the year.

As long as this weekly chart stays above 50 EMA and RSI trends between 80-40 the market will continue to risk. This chart shows risk on (when going up) S&P relative to aggregate bond market ETF. Ratio is rising stocks are in demand relative to bonds.
