I've read that for #Disney, the move into streaming is more about the data it can collect on viewers than the revenue it will generate from subscription fees. Disney can make billions off a single movie (Avengers Endgame, Star Wars, Frozen, etc.). A fortune off related licensing, etc. Streaming revenue is a drop in the bucket. $DIS
How can you be so sure that #Huawai's security flaws are innocent errors? I used to be that naive, but more and more I'm learning that powerful companies abuse their power for their own profit, at users expenses.
For example, you may recall years ago #Google's mapping vehicles "accidentally" hacked in to people's networks and stole their data. It recently came out, as per Bloomberg, CNN, and others, that this was not an accident, but was done intentionally: www.cnn.com/.../index.html
If $GOOG could do somethign so nefarious, why not Huawai?
I'd politely request that you take that attitude back to Seeking Alpha where it belongs. I thought this article was useful, but even if you disagree, no need to be rude. We prefer a higher level of discussion here. It's fine to disagree or give constructive criticsm. But your comment is disparaging and meaningless.
Absolutely Gary. I don't understand how there has not been more outrage about #Google. They were found guilty and supposed to expunge all the private data they stole from their users almost 10 years ago. They never did. And the cl;aimed it was an accident but it later came out that they INTENTIONALLY stole this data.
I think it's no coincidence Google dropped the "Do no evil" from their mission statement.
