I agree. This doesn't make much sense to me. Why would I want to watch a movie with someone who isn't with me? And if I did, why can't I just call a friend on the phone while watching?
Why did the European recovery bill help raise the euro? More printing should have tanked it right? Or should we see a raise in dollar after this bill passes?
Great article. I've seen others champion the concept of only locking up the elderly and at risk. But the elderly are the most susceptible to the disease and have been locked up for far too long already. Any many are dependent on others for help, as it is, making it hard to stay home. Both our mental and physical health will deteriorate further if we don't eradicate this disease soon. I'd rather keep everyone locked up for a shorter period and nip this thing in the bud once in for all.
Sadly, the financial sector needs tremendous reform, regulation and oversite. But as long as they keep donating billions to the politicians, they'll never get more than a slap on the wrist.
