As a retired businessman with a passion for drawing, who has lived on four continents, I long ago started to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us - the enormous variety of colours, flora, fauna and topography and the impact that has had on cultures and peoples. Most of us view that beauty without really seeing it and for thousands of years artists have tried to capture it and thus, teach us the art of seeing. My email address is jbhanshaw@gmail. com

Can Oil Markets Survive An OPEC Implosion?
If #OPEC implodes - it is hardly an effective body anymore, anyway - then its member states do more damage to themselves when many including Saudi Arabia need prices at around $100 bbl to break-even on their budgets. Many are in a bad shape since the mid 2014 when Saudi declared war on US shale producers. Any further damage like that could lead to a middle east war and if that happens oil prices will soar

Three Reasons I Bought A New Home
My wife and I bought our first house in 1977 and have had many moves since that required selling and buying at the next stop. Over that time, there have been price increases and falls but we are way out in front so I encourage all to get on the housing ladder as soon as practical including our daughters, one of whom has done so. My view of rent is that it is 100% interest. James
A Very Bright Spot In Real Estate
The information I have suggests rent increases are topping out in many of the hot spots in CA and this is hitting the stock prices of some of the main listed rental apartment companies. Who do you recommend as good bets for the medium to long term?
Downturn Sets Markets Up For A Dramatic Oil Price Spike
Good article. I had my own thoughts published in this article back in April. Short term I have been wrong but I believe the trend is now up again and will mostly continue that way into 2017
