Vivek--Where Did This Guy Come From?

Date: Thursday, August 24, 2023 7:38 AM EST

I think the best comment that i have heard yet coming from last night's Republican debate is the one that Vivek Ramaswami said:

Vivek said, "I think Donald Trump is the greatest President this country has had in the twentieth century!"

I ask you.  Wouldn't you like to have been the debate host?  The next question i would have asked is this.  "Then why are you running for President because the greatest President in the 20th century is running against you?"

Answer me that, Vivek.  Your comment makes me wonder whether you think you are even better than "el Trumpo"?  Otherwise, why are you running?

ps.  And i just heard another polling question straight from Nickey Haley's mouth:  "75% of the American people don't want to see another Biden-Trump matchup."   Yes, you are right, Haley.   Half of those 75% don't want Biden to run and half don't want Trump to run.  The other 30% really don't care that much because they know Trump cannot win the Presidency again--despite what Vivek (and essentially the rest of the cult) claims.

ps2.  If the clown Vivek picks up steam from last night's debate, you do have to wonder about "the direction the country is moving in".

ps3.  Last night's debate winner?   Maybe Nicky Haley, but in reality, i think it was the guy who is going to get his "mug shot" taken today.  Go figure.

I believe Vivek's goal is to not be President (yet) but to be Vice President to Trump.

Vivek has zero experience which will prevent most people for voting for him, even if they like his ideas and sound bytes.  But as VP, he will gain that experience. And Trump can only serve for one more turn, which means in only 4 years, Vivek can run for the top spot himself and win.

By serving as Trump's lap dog - praising him, defending him against all dectractors, promising to pardon him if he wins... he is showing Trump he will kowtow at his feet and do his bidding no matter what (unlike Pence).  That will make Trump likely to pick him as hs running mate.

Shame on me, i had not thought about that.  I think you are right.  That would set up a "hard to beat ticket" with probably "the best President and Vice President" that this country has ever been blessed with.

I have come to the firm conclusion that "politics" stink to high heaven.

Thanks for the compliment.  And yes, I think that's almost definitely the plan.
