Agreed. I'd say the only company that has ouysourced it's customer service abroad, yet still offers excellent customer service is #Amazon. One of the reasons I'm bullish on $AMZN. It shows you CAN have good customer service while still getting the savings from outsourcing.

Good article. What I find most interesting is how #Amazon and Google evolved from such different companies (Amazon a book seller vs. Google an online search engine) to going head to head in so many diverse categories. $AMZN $GOOGL

With the exception of the cell phone, #Amazon has conquered every industry they've gotten into. I see no reason why it can't do that here as it already has tremendous related expertise and everything in place to outsell the existing leaders. $AAP, $AZO, $ORLY may very well follow in the footsteps of ToysRus. I disagree. Yes, #VictoriaSecret ($LB) is facing increased competition from American Eagle Outfitters ($AEO)' Aerie, #Gap's ($GPS) Love brand, and #Amazon's ($AMZN) Arabella brand. But VS's sales performed better in the first quarter of 2018 than in the same period last year. And they've been making a big push to increase it's online sales. And it's starting to work with an increase of 1% so far.

You failed to mentioned in what capacity you worked for #Amazon. Supposedly, the conditions for their warehouse workers are sub-human and some have literally been worked to death! Those reports soured me on the company. $AMZN.
