Hitting The Rock Bottom - What Does The Future Hold For The US Dollar?

Interesting article. And while I do expect an eventual recovery of the dollar, It would not be right away. All of that money created and handed out may not lead to instant inflation, but the slower kind that takes several days to strangle us. It will suddenly take off at some level of recovery., not until then.

Glyph, The Minimalist Shoe Startup

In a free country those who choose to be a minimalist are free to do so, and those who do not choose to do so should certainly be found to be supporting the economy. And there is one certainty, which is that "the man with only one shirt will certainly find it easy to keep his closet neat."

My guess is that the shoes are comfortable and good looking and well made, and at a reasonable price. So OF COURSE the company will do quite well. Probably a good value stock as well as growth.

TalkMarkets Tuesday Talk: Fall Is Here, You Can See It In The Leaves And In The Markets

Certainly these are some tough times, with the fed bank not knowing what to do for the past few years, and yet doing it as fast as they can. And the markets being a bit down because of closures and also the folks dying from the plague going around. Since the market IS driven partly by emotions that is to be expected.

But the day after a solid cure becomes available or a good vaccine becomes commonly available for all, will be a day too late to buy because all of the stocks will take off.

Moderna Analyst Takes On The Coronavirus Vaccine Developer's Pipeline

OK, now we hear that a vaccine is in the works and should be available in a year or so. and that should be good news for those still around to benefit from it. And the secondary benefit will be a lot less crowding nearly everywhere. Except in cemeteries. Thus Moderna is another good investment.

Ferrari: Why This Growth Stock Could Hit The Skids
4 years ago

Interesting, since I have not thought at all about the Ferrari group at all.

But certainly a drop in earnings that are still quite impressive does not come across as a tragedy. The demand for extreme luxury may have slowed a bit for a while, but I am certain that it will return. Not tomorrow and maybe not this year. But eventually.

CytoDyn's Update Provides A Clear Path Towards Approval With Up-Listing Potential Still In The Cards

It seems like a very interesting tale here, with a case of "who do we believe" twisting things around a bit. Certainly a worthwhile article in its entirety!

Hopefully they are onto a real wonder-drug that can benefit a lot of folks.

I look at the FDA and especially that double-blind test, giving a few hundred what is believed to actually be a cure and then lying to another few hundred and giving them nothing that will be a benefit. I can appreciate the need to have unbiased data but at the same time it seems like they learned about compassion from the Nazis. Promising a cure and then delivering nothing, all in the name of some sacred statistical process certainly looks rather horribly cruel from where I stand.

Would I buy shares in the company? I think so, if it would push towards progress in this battle. Would I be doing it to make a profit? Not really. There are times that one should do good without making a profit. Although some will challenge me about it, I think that there is much more to life than gaining lots of wealth.

China Is Killing The Dollar

Certainly the actions of the Chinese government are intended for the benefit of China, not the USA. And even more certainly that those actions ar very carefully thought out. If China decides to be a serious enemy then the US is in deep trouble.

Fundamentals Supportive But Watching Support Zones Closely

Also, keep in mind that one item that has a great deal of effect on stock prices is emotions of those doing the buying and selling, as well as the emotions of those pretending to have great insight into what is happening. And how reliable and predictable are the emotions of such folks???. While actions can be observed and possibly some clues gained, emotions are less predictable than tomorrow;s winds.
