This is an intriguing idea for a business model. But how is your company able to survive during this pandemic? With #coronavirus keeping people stuck at home, I assume all hotels are shuttered until further notice.
I thought the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions were killed by the #coronavirus pretty quickly. Wouldn't those who are going to die, still be dead by day 6?
I still think #coronavirus is either a hoax, or just a whopping waste of time. It's not that big of a deal - I don't know anyone who is infected, but even if I did, so what? They'll get a little cold?
People are more likely to both catch, and die from the flu. All this panic will absolutely destroy the economy. Yes the coronavirus can kill old people. So can the flu, so can a fall. If it isn't this virus, it will be something else. Why shut down the world over it? This is insanity!!!
I am unclear if the #coronavirus is actually contagious during the incubation period. If so, I would think it is impossible to stop. But I've read conflicting information about this and can't seem to get a straight answer. Do you know?
@[Bill Kort](user:42683), you said " At one point, anyone who presented with the symptoms were labeled as having coronavirus in the count."
I'm not sure where you saw this. I read the complete opposite. That China went to great lengths to reduce the official numbers of #coronavirus infections. In fact, originally even when medical tests practically assured someone was infected, unless they had an official test, they could not be included in the count. And China didn't have enough tests.
When the numbers increased dramatically, it wasn't that people were being infected at higher rates, but rather, it was simply a matter of more people being tested. It makes me wonder if the numbers in the US are much higher than we realize.
We all hope the #Coronavirus would fade away. But policy can't assume that will happen. #Trump being surrounded by the virus could ultimately be helpful. Of course, he is likely worried about himself and not his rally followers.
#Trump keeps pretending the #coronavirus is no big deal. I just read that Congressman Matt Gaetz who came into contact with coronavirus patient spent the weekend with Trump. He may find out first hand that the virus is not a hoax after all!
Two critical issues. But I believe the #coronavirus is the far greater threat as there is still so much we simply don't know about this disease, or how bad things will get. But it's already beginning to decimate certain industries.
I read China is starting to re-open some factories which should help. Sounds like they are finally starting to get a handle on things over there. Unfortunately, the #Covid19#coronavirus is just getting started in the US
I would think you would need to differentiate between purely digital tech companies - for example software companies like $FB and $CRM, and product based tech companies like $AAPL. The latter is going to take a major hit due to disruptions in supply from the #coronavirus outbreak.
