Today Charterror restored my phone line and this took down my internet. I have spent hours trying to write my blog. When I called them to ask for a repair they took down my telephone as well. So I am home and unable to file a blog at all. Repairman cometh tomorrow from 10 to 11 am, but as I don't go to the synagogue these days I can let him into my office. I will file Friday's blog on Memorial Day, Monday.
It has been a messy day after China hit the world with bad news, not just over the 23-year-old deal over Hong Kong's civil liberties, but also with a forecast for this fiscal year's GDP down by a third from 2019-20. And Hong Kong crashed 5.6% for the lowest close for a decade. The rest of the world mostly fell too.
Until Monday, when I hope I can file, we are out of commission. Have a nice and safe weekend.
