As a retired businessman with a passion for drawing, who has lived on four continents, I long ago started to appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us - the enormous variety of colours, flora, fauna and topography and the impact that has had on cultures and peoples. Many things, too many to put in a comment. The first priority in my view has been talked about for years; getting Germany out of the euro.

I wrote my article long before the pandemic. I am sure though that the pandemic will get the blame, but that will not get the EU out of its other self inflicted and worsening problems. Those once papered over cracks have become canyons.

That maybe the case with lots of art but some stocks are pricy too. you can buy some nice pieces of art for the price of one Lindt & Sprüngli voting share at around $90,000 each, LISN on the Zürich exchange. Berkshire Hathaway shares, BRK.A, would buy some ok pieces of art too at around $272,000 each.
