Well researched. Interesting to get your take on private equity firms buying up residential properties usually purchased by families to be used as family homes, thereby crowding out these traditional buyers from the market.
An interesting article. PD patients need better medicines and Inhibikase has a successful suite of therapies the sky is the limit as far as future valuation for the company. Today is April 1, I wonder if their request to the FDA for Fast Track approval was granted.
Hi Dilantha. An excellent and well written article. In addition to profiling the company Upstart, you also shed the spotlight on a new trend and growth area in the lending industry. Looking forward to more of the same from you.
Interesting ideas. I agree that crypto is in its infancy and it will take time to see such currencies stabilize. With the current volatility we see as much a flight from crypto as from risk assets. Right now the chance for crypto to replace gold as an "inflation hedge" asset is as likely as finding diamonds in a tulip field.
An interesting article. Clearly, company management has shown to be agile in taking advantage of the demand for COVID testing and being able to supply the services for this demand and get it right. This is no small feat, but I am still skeptical of the long term need. Right now they are able to command premium prices which has allowed the company to experience robust profitiablity, but this is a service that over the long term needs to be free or provided on a cost plus very, small margin basis. We are talking about protecting people's public health, which is the responsibility of the government so I don't know if the demand for their proposed TREAT service with its one free $250 PCR test will actually pan out in the long run. On the other hand they may find other revenue sources for health related travel services that could prove to be profitable in the long run. Good article, though; look forward to more.
Thanks for bringing Sprouts to our attention. Always good to hear about small caps, especially when so many resources are directed toward large caps and large cap ETFs. Sprouts looks like any interesting company, however the grocery retail business is tough and niche market players like Sprouts are being squeezed out by online grocers large and small, especially during the current COVID era we are living through. Even organic and "natural foods" vendors have significant online presence. They will need to expand their virtual footprint as well as increasing new store openings to continue to grow.
The article is well written in a simple and easy to read and comprehend format.
Interesting collection of stocks, here. They all seem to have some sort of current cache going for them. Nio may turn out to be a veritable competitor to Tesla, but given the lack of transparency in Chinese stocks, still not very enticing. Which of these stocks would you own? What part of your portfolio do you include these in?
