It must be lovely to be so arrogant and ignorant. I'm 61, worked all my life, got laid off, my Cobra expired. The only insurance I could get from the profit-oriented insurance companies you love so much was more than $1000 a month. Now with my tax subsidy I pay $350. Would you rather I just go to emergency rooms alongside the nonworking poor and have the taxpayer pick up ALL the freight?

Have you priced kibble lately, Charles? I wouldn't count on that snack.... But seriously folks, really good article, story of my life. And since my trust-funded retirement isn't going to happen, I've been admiring some working superseniors (like my 88-year-old neighbor) who still commutes two days a week to (paid) employment at a charity she loves. These folks tend to be healthier and sharper than their retired compatriots anyway. So what if we're tired, not retired - helps get a good night's sleep.
