Jace is 'vintage' now (shows how old we are!) but one of the extra advantages if you can find it, is to see how many of the companies featured in 1968 don't exist any more. A&P, General Tel, a lot of steel companies....
This sent me down my own etymological rabbit hole this morning, which was fun on a Sunday. First I thought, what a lazy way for an author not to check the attribution. But as usual Pater is correct- despite frequent attribution of this quote to Lewis Carroll, it is nowhere to be found in his works. No less an expert than William Safire explored it in 2003. Best expert guesses are that it dates back to German or Pennsylvania Dutch origin.
Thanks for answering, Bob, raises my opinion ;-) I just get cranky at articles that seem to overgeneralize - 'everyone' etc. The people I know, and read, think of Apple as a tech company and a computing company - not a phone company.

Apple Is Slowly Blowing Companies Away
Many see Apple as only a phone hardware company? Only if they've been hiding under a rock. Not a fan of this article.
