In my last post, i left it asking the question as to when the United States decided to "warm to the idea" of supporting Ukraine in an effort to take back Crimea.
I said, i didn't think it was yesterday.
Now here is when that decision was actually made.
Answer: Shortly after the November election and Biden felt recognized as being the next President of the United States. Biden knew where the "hot spots" were keeping us from "world peace". There are two: Ukraine and Taiwan.
About a month before Biden took office--the State Department of the United States sent out a statement essentially saying that the United States of America would support Taiwan with all if its capabilities. Not many people made note of this at the time--but this was a "big, big" change in U.S. policy--one that we had never made before. China was put on notice.
Do you remember how shocked the press was the first time Biden said that the "U.S. would support Taiwan militarily"?
What you have to understand is this: the press tends to be days, weeks, months, even years behind "what is really going on sometimes". I am shocked sometimes at how slow the press is catching up with what is really going on. Such, my comment about the "breaking news" of the New York Times, which i actually overstated in my earlier blog. We are "warming to the idea" now, i guess.
Come on people. Come on world. Wake up. Because here is what is going on.
Biden is trying to bring "Peace to the World" and he knows that if that is going to happen then he needs to convince Putin and Jinping that it is also in there best interests, too.
Which, btw, it is.
Makes sense.
I told my friends outside of Talkmarkets that this is the "best post" that i have written to this point.
Why is that?
