Something Additional to Think About

Date: Tuesday, October 20, 2020 5:46 AM EDT

Since i assume those who are following my blog are kind of in on Globanomics, i thought i would give my followers something exrra to think about.

Currently, the United States blows the water out of expenditures for Health Care and Defense.  With the implementation of Globanomics we should be able to wind down much of our Defense budget.  In terms of U.S. health care.  It's a sham.  Not because of our health treatment, but the cost for that health treatment.  A lot of very good countries (similar to the U.S.) spend far less more for health care than does the United States without showing in detriment in their health care.  We can overspend in Health Care and Defense because we can (we have a high GPP/capita) but that does not mean you have to spend your money that way.  Just think what you could do with that unnecessary expense.  Budgets are relatively easy to make and it is not too difficult to "balance the budget" if you really want to--and i think we should.

So here you go, United States, Globanomics in its effect, should open up funds for real value (e.g., science, infrastrucure, etc.)

Under my concept for Glanomics, the United States is the leader, and should always remain the leader. The way you do that is by attracting the absolute best, and making the United States the country of choice.  But to hold that responsibility, there cannot be any bullshit going on.

ps.  I read a good book on Elon Musk and there was something that really struck home with me about Elon.  He said he knew that he had to come to the United States to do what he wanted to do.  That is the America that i believe in, and with that kind of America, America will always be great.

Interesting, and I agree. Out of curiosity, what was the book you are referring to in the article? I hadn't heard that before about Musk.
