Oscar the Optimist, 2020, Revisited

Date: Monday, October 26, 2020 11:48 AM EDT

I have been going back and reviewing earlier articles that i wrote for Talkmarkets, and i came across this one, that i wrote a couple of days before New Year's Eve---the impeachment hearings were going on and we were moving into the election year of 2020.

I really liked the Oscar article, but Talkmarkets would not publish it either.  After i got turned down by Talkmarkets, I sent the article to the Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, etc., but got no bites.  I still believe it is a great piece of writing.  Any way i am bringing that article back to life with the following link in case you have not seen it before.

When all is said and done i think the old Republicans must form a new party, called The Party of Lincoln.  Trump has destroyed the name Republican and it will never work again.
