How do you grade Biden's speech? Today it might receive one grade and tomorrow a different one. Personally, i thought it was good, but i thought it could have been better.
Five years to figure things out? That seems more like a set up for reelection than actually seriously taking things on. Five years is a long time in "globanomic time". Hell within five-years the World Federation should be up and running, nuclear disarmament would have taken place, and America would have its health care costs down and in line with the rest of the world--at least to the point we aren't paying more than 30% more than other countries.
In five years we should be halfway to fixing our climate problem. In five years, we would have some proposal for some kind of reasonable world population control.
Hell, within five-years i might be even writing a blog with someone other than Talkmarkets.
Now if you get all the above done within five-years--and that is what was meant--then the speech was an A++. But if the war goes on for another year, then i think it will be hard to see the speech getting anything more than a B--.
ps. I am off my stash, i shaved my beard off, i am almost human again with a short ponytail coming down from my unheralded bald spot.
-ps1. it's time to do some spring cleaning and find another outlet with outreach. The goal is still Bloomington (don't forget).
ps2. And it's still not too early nor too late to introduce "globanomics". In fact, it is about right to do it now. Because if you never introduce globanomics, then you will never get to globanomics. Kind of makes sense doesn't it?
I didn't hear it.
