In Summary

Date: Thursday, March 30, 2023 6:14 AM EST

It seems that every time i turn to see what is happening in the news (whether it be the internet, ABC, MSNBC, Fox, etc.), everything is going to hell in a handbasket.  And counter to everything i said in Globanomics and counter to everything i have been saying with my posts.  And I am getting tired.

I have thrown a lot of things on the wall (with my posts), but nothing seems to stick, so I would like to summarize my differences with "all the news departments" reporting on the United States and world events before i decide to sign off for good.

1. Number one has to be "globanomics".  There are probably less than a 2,000 people who have even heard of the term and of that 2,000 there are probably less than ten that have even bothered to look into it.  Globanomics provides a template for world peace using a new world federation that would replace the United Nations.  Never has the term even come close to being mentioned by a single news broadcast.  After all, globanomics is a "pipe dream" from an insane mind.

2. The United States is a great country that has only gotten better and better throughout my lifetime (i.e., since World War II).  Yes, the U.S. has had troubles during the period i am talking about, but regardless, year after year after year, it has bettered itself despite road bumps.  The United States of America is the "best performer" on the world stage.  It is not perfect, but it is a long way from being imperfect.

3. The United States dominates the world of finance and business.  Over half of all global investments are made to companies founded in the United States.  As to why, no one wants to mention this, is one of my biggest befuddlements (neither Maria Bartiromo nor CNBC even mentions this rather important fact).  Not only that, one can see if they break down the data (from a fictitious, but real EGSB--now that is a dichotomy) that the United States leads or is near the lead in most business categories (e.g., discretionary, staples, energy, finance, health care, industrials, information technology, etc.).

4. Although citizens of the United States pay twice as much for their so-called "excellent" health care system as other free world comparable countries, the statistical health care results show that the U.S. does not perform as well as other free world comparable countries.  The reason for this is easily discerned.  Over a period of about thirty-years, the health care industry was able to pull the wool over the eyes of government, and with the government's blessing, the health care industry regularly raised prices "year after year after year" (over that thirty-year period) at a rate of about twice what would have been expected from inflationary and population changes.

5.  If you look at a broad set of features (e.g., food, water, shelter, health, safety, business, infrastructure, energy, education, international status, arts, and science), all of which are important factors in a country's well being, the United States is also the "best performer" worldwide.  The U.S. does not lead in each of the categories, but like in business, it holds its own quite well in every category.  There is no other country in the world that even comes close in comparison.

6. Historical evidence has shown time and time again that "freedom" is the best indicator of world success on a number of fronts; yet we live in a world that seems to want to turn more "authoritarian" in nature, including the United States of America.  People like Donald Trump are antithetical to everything the United States has ever stood for.  Ronald Reagan is not just rolling over in his grave, he is slamming his casket to try to get out and back into the game.  And while Reagan stirs, his old supporters piss on his grave and desecrate everything he stood for--backing the anti-Reagan policies of the biggest hypocrite of a President this country has ever known.

7. Donald J. Trump (the person leading the authoritarian charge here in the United States) should already be in prison feeding on bread and water.  Period.  Justice in America only works for the poor and downtrodden.  Don't expect justice if you are rich and powerful.  Those are the rules.

8.  The animosity between the two political parties in the United States is unwarranted.  All true liberals and all true conservatives support individual freedom, family, their nation, and the world.  One cannot be a true liberal or a true conservative if he or she does not respect and support these key factors and institutions.  Hate kills.  Love lives.  So, what is all of our hatred about?  It's counter to nearly every religious and philosophical thought--Christian or otherwise.

9.  Guns kill people and AR-15s can kill a lot of people in a very short time period.  AR-15s were designed for "military war" to shoot enemy forces, not to shoot "six, seven, eight, nine, etc. year-olds in our elementary, high schools, and universities.  Neither is it "sport" to use an AR-15 to go hunting.  Those who thirst for AR-15s should join the military to show their patriotism and bravery.

10.  The "human species" is moving "naturally forward" in a progressive, not a regressive manner--with "love" being the focal point from which all future advancements will be made.  That love includes: (1) the love of our planet; (2) the love of our fellow persons, regardless of one's gender, race, color, or creed; (3) the love of everything "natural"; and (4) the love of oneself "tempered".

11.  China is a "paper tiger" and will always remain a "paper tiger" as long as it refused to understand the benefits of "freedom for its citizenry".  Xi Jinping is more of a "dreamer" than i am.  Even so, my dreams are more likely to become reality than his dreams.

12.  The three primary problems the world faces are clear: (1) climate change; (2) weapons of mass destruction; and (3) over-population.  Yet the world cannot pull itself together using its current management systems to address any one of three fairly large and destructive problems affectively.

13.  And finally, just simply to end this list which could go on and on, i would like to close with this final extremely important point.  There is a natural factor regarding Earth and everything else in the Universe.  Goodness wins over Badness.  Goodness explains everything; badness explains nothing.  And love flows from Goodness.  People and things can beat the Goodness out of you, but you can always get your Goodness back.

-----

ps. Now i am signing out--maybe for good--maybe not.  It's simply tiring to always find yourself shouting into the wind of a hurricane.  It can be embarrassing, too--if that really matters.

I find I'm happiest when I leave the news off these days!

I agree and i am afraid it is going to be like that for the next year and a half with 90% of the news dealing with old Trumpo in one way or another.  That is enough to make anyone sick.
