Have You Ever?

Date: Tuesday, January 10, 2023 5:29 AM EST

Have you ever given any thought to how much "world turmoil" can happen over disputes that count for only a small fraction of the Earth's surface?

A small portion of Ukraine and the island of Taiwan.  Those are the disputed areas.  One could almost concede those lands, if the aggression would stop right there, but that is not how it works.  Once the aggressor gains territory through force, the aggressor starts looking for other soft spots.

Now everyone should understand this level of thinking.  It's not so much the land itself, it's this thought that one can aggressively take over another country against its will that has to be stopped.

Everybody knows this, so i say, either "bring it on" or let's get down to the "peace table".

Yep. Once you give in to a bully, it only emboldens them to take more.
