Here is what i learned from the news this past weekend.
1. Many Americans were on the go for the holiday but they were stifled by plane cancelations and high gas prices.
2. Russia seems to be having success in the Donbas region despite the American weaponry that is flowing into Ukraine.
3. Another mass shooting in America--this time at a Fourth of July celebration.
4. A man (Jayland Walker) was shot more than sixty times after running from the police.
5. Recession talk increases after a terrible first half of the year.
So the question of the day becomes this. Is the United States of America half full or half empty?
Answer: HALF FULL
Sometimes bad news overshadows the real United States of America

And here is a bonus question in case you missed the answer to the first question.
Why does my blog get more views when I wish people a happy holiday weekend, than when i talk about globanomics?
Answer: I HAVE NO FRICKIN IDEA.
Too many mass shootings. It never ends, and we do nothing to stop it.
If he didn't run, he'd still be alive. I'll never understand why people run from the police. If they are innocent, they have nothing to worry about. If they aren't, getting arrested is still better than getting shot.
Wasn't Jayland Walker armed?
