A Broken Record

Date: Wednesday, October 2, 2024 3:18 AM EST

I woke up about 1:30 this morning to watch the "post-debate analysis"--having not watched the debate, itself.

And now here is "my analysis" of the post-debate analysis.

-------

First of all, i noticed there didn't seem to be as much exuberance from the analysts that i saw from the same people analyzing the Harris/el trumpo debate.  Then i was told that J.D. Vance put on his nice-face and got away with it.  The final tell was when i heard a national audience called Vance the winner in a close call at 42 to 41 with 17 percent unclear.

Well, guess what?  That pretty much sounds like what the pundits and polls have been telling us.  It is going to be a close election and that there is a "real chance" that "el trumpo" could again take up shop in the Oval Office off the United States of America.

------

Now, let us put all of the above behind us for the moment.  Let's talk about the next five weeks.

------

Get George W. Bush's endorsement!  Not only his endorsement, but his commitment to put some effort in on Harris' behalf.  Jeb's endorsement (which we know is less important) should follow on the heals of his brothers.

At the same time, you get the really big "hold-out generals" who worked underneath "el trumpo" to finally come out and say what needs to be said.

------

Once you get the above, make "big, big news" out of it.  The pundits will tell you that endorsements don't matter, and that may be true, but it is hard for me to believe that endorsements don't matter when it includes essentially the last fifty years of our government apparatus.

-------

Like what i think happened to Joe Biden and Tim Walz in the debate arena is "too, too much bullshit preparation", taking the personality out of the equation and instead make the person put out "the standard important list of points" that must be memorized associated with every potential question.

The draw to "el trumpo" was his personality of saying just about anything he wanted to say without the hindrance to any list.  People hate listening to details because they don't understand them--the people hardly even understand the big picture, let alone the details.

------

Although i still do believe this could be a 75-25 election, it is not looking that way.

Well, folks, all i can say is this.  Five weeks is a long time in the political world.  It's time to get the really "big endorsements" and it's time to put those endorsements in full display.

The only argument that can be made against the "Harris endorsement list" is this.  El trumpo would say that that list represents the "Deep State" that he is talking about.

Well, what i would say to that is this:  If that is the Deep State, then thank god, we have a Deep State that includes the likes of Presidents Biden, Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Carter.  Vice-Presidents Pence, Cheney, Gore, Quail.  Secretary of States ddkl, llllk, lllk, and lkkkkkl.  Top military leaders xxxx, xxxx, xxx, and xxxx.  You get the picture.

My final question with less than thirty-five days to go now is this.

Why the fuck isn't pressure being put on the holdouts?  And why have i not seen in one place, the list of all of Harris' endorsements.  Or are the pundits really right that endorsements don't mean jack shit?

------

ps.  I must also note that October 1, 2024 came and went without a "world peace" agreement between the United States and China--just another of my predictions gone by the wayside.  I am starting to feel like the guy who keeps adjusting the date for the world to end.

ps1.  When i look back on the last four-years, i will always feel a bit let down by the Biden Administration.  I thought, considering the dominant position the United States has in the world, along with the fact that Biden had some kind of personal relationship with Xi Jinping, that we would see "world peace" sometime during Biden's first term.  I have constantly asked myself what i am missing in my thinking, but i have not been able to figure out a good answer to that.  And my disappointment remains.

ps2.  I might add to the above.  Everything that is going on in the Ukraine/Russia war or the Israeli/Iran war could be "wrapped up" in One Big World Peace Plan with "globanomics" showing the way.

ps3.  But then the question becomes: What the fuck is "globanomics"?

No clear winner in the VP debate.  Harris was the clear winner in the Presidential debate.  Of course just like every time Trump loses, rather than take responsibility he blames everyone else and claims she cheated.

Agreed. It's like having a kindergartner running for president.
