I understand - I'm just thinking from the POV of an apple iphone user. Do they automatically use apple pay and not paypal or google wallet? Android users: use google wallet but not paypal?

I suppose. I have an android and have never used google. Have used PayPal for years. Plus, isn't it "use google or use apple"? With paypal it doesn't matter if you're pro google or pro apple.
