Netflix Game of Chance With Shuffle Play

Date: Wednesday, August 19, 2020 2:56 PM EDT

After almost six months in exile, I've watched every piece of streaming content that even remotely interests me. (I'm sure you have, too).

Netflix (NFLX) thinks it has the answer: Shuffle Play.

Press the new shuffle play button (it's under your account name on the home screen) and Netflix will use its considerable computational power to play something it thinks you'll like. Netflix is testing the button. I wonder what percentage of shuffles will lead to Netflix originals? Hmmm...

What's your take? Do you trust its algorithm?

Yes, I too have completely run out of what to watch on Netflix. Eager to try this new feature.
