Could things get worse in Russia when Putin leaves the stage?  I didn't think so, but now i am beginning to wonder.  What about this Yevgeniy Viktorovich Prigozhin guy, the head of the Wagner Group?

Morning Joe said that Prigozhin wants to turn Russia into another North Korea!  Now what do you think about that as a goal?  After that, you can only surmise where this Nazi-leaning group plans to go from there.  This morning i read that it's the Wagner Group who is stirring up their poison in Africa in places like Sudan.

Being an entity that works both within and outside of the Russian Government, the Wagner Group has the best of both worlds.  Putin has to support the Wagner Group to make up for the deficiencies of his own military, but the Wagner Group does not have to support Putin.  And it shows.  Putin wants to recapture the properties that made up the USSR.  The Wagner Group wants to take over the world--Hitler-like.

And all the time Xi Jinping sits on the sidelines smiling.  Globanomics is more complicated than i thought.  Putin has allowed the creation of his and Russia's complete downfall.  How ironic would it be for Russia, who lost 20-million people in World War II because of Hitler, while winning their battle against Hitler and Nazism, to end up with a Nazi-like regime seventy-years later?  

A Russia with that kind of intent would lead to World War III--without a doubt.  And possibly and more likely to nuclear holocaust.

Three cheers for Vladimir Putin.  It's time to put your poison darts to work and stomp out your opposition leadership.  Even better yet, it's time to cut your deal with the West and join NATO.

Otherwise, i fear for Mother Russia and even more so for the world.

And the drama continues in Washington with another five days of dreary back and forths and false patriotism.  Yes, false patriotism.  Anyone who would let our country, while enjoying the height of his influence around the world, default on its debt can hardly be called a patriot.  I only have to mention one name as an example (and it won't be Marjorie Taylor Greene--see how i sneaked that in without mentioning her name)

El Trumpo wants to see a default.  Is El Trumpo a patriot?  

Don't make me laugh.  El Trumpo is more of a patriot to Russia than he is the United States of America.  He has said so, and acted so, time and time again.

So, here is an idea.  Don't use the extra five-days to drag this "false bravado" out any longer.  Here is an opportunity to show the people of the United States that you don't have to take it up to the last second to actually get anything done.  Do it by June 1, instead of using the five days that Janet Yellen just gave you.

Well, like i said yesterday--let the Memorial Day weekend party begin.  Ashley and Chrissy are coming to visit.  They are bringing supplies from Michigan for me, which should help brighten my outlook these next several months.  My stepdaughters will be the first people to enter my house since Linda passed away.  My three dogs--Sophie, Winston, and Cooper--will finally have someone other than me to talk to.

I kind of like my "hermit life style", but i am sure looking forward to having some company for a few days.  Good company, too.

Hope your Memorial Day Weekend is a good one, too.  Take at least a moment or two, however, to remember what the weekend is supposed to be about.
