What Biden Should Do, But Won't Do

Date: Friday, May 31, 2024 5:09 AM EST

President Biden needs to give a speech--a world peace speech.  But he won't.  He is too cautious.  Maybe even too cautious for his own good.

-----

Why cannot the President of the United States propose world peace?  After all, if someone is going to propose, who better than the United States, especially when it is sitting in the catbird seat.

Too risky, Jim.  People will think him the idiot!  How can you talk world peace when Russia is attacking Ukraine and Iran-Israel?

-----

Propose globanomics, Joe!  The time is right.  El trumpo is down this particular moment, don't let him get up again before you have given the world and the American people--world peace.

You can do it, Joe.  Propose an alliance between Europe and Russia (while Ukraine becomes whole again).  Let Taiwan align with China and Hong Kong (but keep them independent).  Propose the North American alliance which would include the likes of the UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

It makes sense, Joe.  Put the vision out there and others will see the logic, too.

This is not the time to be wimpish.  It's time for real leadership.

------

ps.  You might want to take a sigh of relief from the New York verdicts because we were fortunate that it did not go the other way.  Just the same, Fox is the same, el trumpo is the same, and much of the American public is the same--so don't count on help from the courts.  It is time you take action on your own part.

I think it's naive to think that Putin would give back Ukraine and make peace with Europe. He has no interest.

You are correct. But now that Ukraine has invaded and conquered part of Russia, maybe Putin would now be more amenable to it.
