We Are Living History, Folks

Date: Monday, March 20, 2023 5:56 AM EST

Never before in my entire lifetime of 75-years have i felt the effect of "history" taking place so much on a daily basis.  More strange and threatening actions are taking taking place on a daily basis today than any other time in my life.  Just consider:

1.  Donald Trump serving as President of the United States of America for "four years".

2. The threat of Donald Trump serving as President for another "four years"--after he orchestrated an insurrection against the country he swore to protect.

3. Vladmir Putin pushing the limits of his weak military.

4. Russia and China becoming the "best of buddies" to neither's benefit.

5. The clash between the "free world" countries and the "authoritarian world" countries

6.  The vailed threat for "violence on main street" if the Big D is indicted

7.  The passing of the old guard without any clear comparable replacements from the new guard.

8.  The total collapse of "conservatism" for "conspiracy theories".

9.  Freedom fighters in Ukraine reminding us of our own "best days", yet with loud and vocal opposition from the American right of all places.

10. The constant effort to build high rise structures out of "mole hills" through Fox television and the Congress of the United States in an effort to tear down the fabric of America itself.

11. The total equivalization of "truth" and "lies" without the least concern.

12.  The Proud Boys and others of their ilk having top-level influence in one political party in the United States.

13.  The constant push back against the effects of "globalization" even though globalization helps the entire world.

14. The battle between "nationalism" and "globalism".

15. The clear dominance of the United States on the global stage with most Americans thinking their country is failing.

Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera.

----------

And today, Chairman for life, Xi Jinping begins his meetings with President for life, Vladimir Putin in Moscow.

And tomorrow, the disgraced ex-President of the United States might be "indicted" paying for "p----".  The first ex-President to ever be "indicted".  And probably the first ex-President who ever had to "pay for p----".

And probably a month from now, a new "Spring Offensive" will begin in Ukraine in its effort to push big bad Russia out of its country, reminding us of some of our own better days.

And six months from now (if we are lucky) Donald Trump will be indicted for his more serious crime called "sedition against the United States of America".  Also the first ex-President to be charged with sedition.

And nine-months from now, 2024--with the election of all elections (at least since 2020) looming ahead.in the United States with the world looking on in both horror and wonderment.

And twenty-months from now (November 2024) the United States electorate will decide whether it wants to remain a democracy or whether it wants to join the ranks of the "authoritarian nations".

-------

That's about all you need to know about history right now.  The next twenty months are going to be filled with it.  Then after the next twenty-months--history will be anyone's guess--either continuing forward with constant international turmoil or "world peace".

In the mean time, "globanomics" sits in the wings on hold.  Go figure.  Isn't history great!

Don't forget the very likely reality that a former president, Trump, will be indicted.

Tou are right.  The list could go on and on, including the latest U.N. report on the environment.
