One Great Day for America and the World

Date: Thursday, January 21, 2021 6:04 AM EST

Wow!  Quite a day for America and the World yesterday.  It was magnificent, the speech itself, the poet lauriate, the benediction (wow).  It was almost too much to absorb in just one sitting.  Everyone i talk to is overwhelmingly excited and grateful.  Still wondering about the other 74 million.

Oh well, that will shrink quickly.  You have to remember even a lot of us old democrats were cautious about what we said to our neighbor republicans before the election.  But that damn, will break and i think you can get 99% on board (and i don't think we'll have to worry about the other 1%).

Waited with baited breath for the word "globanomics" to be mentioned.  I'm a little disappointed on that point, but understand that maybe the public can take only so much at one time, especially considering the economy and the virus.

I guess i will just have to wait for my notoriety. (Now onto a different point).

I am thinking of dropping my affiliation with TalkMarkets (at least from the article standing point).  I think i am going to go look for a different vehicle as an outlet for my articles.  I used be good friends with the editor of Business Insider and they pull in a bigger audience.  The pay is the same, which is "ZERO", so simply by default of a larger, yet good, audience, Business Insider seems like a better bet for me right now.

I am in payment discussions right now with the editor of TalkMarkets, Boaz, but i think he is laughing at my proposal.

I think i could keep up my TalkMarkets blog without having to write articles for them, so i would try to stay in contact with my smaller audience that way.

Probably not a great day for the 74 million people who had voted for Trump!

That was before Trump became such a sore loser and refused to admit he lost. Instead he fomented an insurrection against our government and democracy in general. I guarantee he lost the support of many of those voters.

That's true. While I don't really think Trump deserves as much blame as he received for the Capital attack, I had read that after that, the majority of Americans believed he should be removed from office.
