Not Much to Offer, But

Date: Wednesday, September 4, 2024 10:00 AM EST

I have been patiently watching the election process process and I don't have much to offer, but i am going to try anyway.  My 80 - 20 election seems a bit optimistic at this point in time.  Even i am beginning to believe that this could get tight and come down to a few states, including even maybe North Carolina.

I think the debate might change things a bit, but we will have to just wait and see.

------

So, in preparation of the debate i have only one thing to offer:  It's Mozart's Piano Concerto #21 played by Yeol Eum Son.  There are two such videos on "youtube".  Either one is magnificent.  I first became attached to the one Yeol played at the Tchaikowsky contest, but since i have become even more enamored with a more recent one where Yeol also gives an encore performance.

Each video runs for about 30 - 40 minutes and you need to watch the entire video.

------

Why?  What would watching a video do to help in the debate preparation?

Well, first of all it's Mozart.  Second of all it's "Yeol".

Despite some very strong competition (e.g., Bach, Beethoven, etc.), Mozart still must be considered the best of them all.  And although i do not consider myself an expert on Mozart, i will have to say that his piano concerto #21 for piano is as close to what i would call "perfection" as there is.

And Yeol playing Mozart's #21 makes me think of Kamala at the keys playing the music of globanomics.

And always seeming, regardless of whatever else is going on, joy, beauty, and goodness is always out there for us to try and expand.

Watch the either video and you, too, will wonder at the amazing talents of "human beings".

That kind of talent we should all shoot for within ourselves.
