Murdoch Revisited

Date: Friday, October 30, 2020 5:53 AM EST

I noticed that the Wall Street Journal did not endorse Biden, even after the fact that they knew the Economist had.

The first thing i did was look up Rupert Murdoch's net worth.  It is something around $20 Billion.  Not counting his kids.

Now this is what i would do.  I would give Rupert and his kids the weekend to rethink their position.  It will be late and that needs to be taken into account but it would be one last kind gesture on our part..

We could go to war starting today if we waned to, but the old Republicans (the Lincoln Party) could use a place to voice their disagreements wih the Democrats and Fox could play that role.

The rub is this: Both the Democrats and the old Republicans are endorsing Biden and for very good reasons.  If the Wall Street Journal cannot get on board, it will be the first shoe to drop (Bloomberg would be a good replacement).  Next we would turn our attention towards Fox and make sure they know they are deeply tied to Trumpism, and not associated with the ideas coming from the new Lincoln Party.  And then, we will destroy Trumpism through our own actions.

ps. I know i am not asking Fox news to endorse Trump.  We do not need that endorsement at this point in time.  Murdoch should know that.  We will deal fairly (depending) with Fox after the election.

Now that is what i would do.  I would give the Murdoch's one more chance to save as much of their $20 Billion they can on Monday.  Otherwise, the war starts then.

My respect for the Economist went up immensely yesterday.

ps. I am currently revisiting my Amazing Numbers analysis.  It's even better than i pointed out earlier.  The U.S. numbers are higher than i first quoted.  Like i mentioned before the data is more than a pain in the ass to deal with (e.g.,  $ 20.3 B), but i am now working on the complete 2000.  I have market values and i can do analysis on that now.  Later i think i would like to look at the Sales, Profits, and Assets data to see what i can make of that, too.  I assume you have your analysts that can do this, but that will not keep from doing it on my own.
