One of my "outside Talkmarkets" friends is somewhat a "bigwig" within the Republican Party (in a leadership role within the Reagan side of the Republican Party).

For the last six-months we have gone back and forth at each other over Trump.  Me saying that Trump was the worst thing that ever hit the United States, and him telling me that I was out there on some "fringe element" of another party.

Well, i saw this morning that Liz Chaney spoke at the Reagan Library yesterday, and a very good speech at that.--So i thought i would check in with my friend to see how things were going.  Here is what i said:

Hi, B--i saw that Liz Chaney spoke at the Reagan Library and it made me wonder if you had finally come around.

Liz Chaney is the leader of your new party.

Just the same she will lose in 2024 because of the republicans inexcusable tie to Trump, which many republicans saw long before Jan 6th (including the likes of Joe Scarborough, Nicolle Wallace, the old head of the Republican Committee, etc. etc. etc.)   

Do you really think we should turn the reigns over to those people that sat quietly while Trump was setting his Fascist Government up.  It should not have taken a Jan 6th to see what Trump was doing.  He had been doing it since 2015.
