In a dispute it is important to ask yourself the following:  Where is the "love" being placed on my side of the argument?  

That might help to clarify one's position.

For example: (1) Love for the Midwest or (2) Love for the Country?

Another: (1) Love for your Country or (2) Love for the World?

And Another: (1) Love for the Great Lakes or (2) Love for the Country?
