I Have a Great Idea

Date: Sunday, February 2, 2025 10:27 AM EDT

Instead of implementing world peace, a new World Federation to replace the United Nations, and globanomics, why don't we simply:

  1. Start a "trade war" with both our friends and our enemies;
  2. Leave the "global environmental improvement" movement;
  3. Shutdown all research in the sciences.
  4. Make buddy-buddy with Vladimir and Orbon;
  5. Turn the F.B.I. into a group of "stormtroopers", supported by the u.s. military as backup in case the Proud Boys cannot perform their responsibilities again;
  6. Put idiots in all the key government administration positions while eliminating all the "supporting staff"

And do you want to know something?  I haven't even been paying attention!  I am sure the list could go with another twenty more items.

-------

Now considering the above, would you want to "invest in the United States of America"?

Don't answer that.  You may sound foolish.

-------

ps.  I will have you know that i have completed a "month's worth" of Krishnamurti opinions (i.e. 31 straight days) with just a week to go (i.e., 7 opinions left).  I must admit that i was quite concerned initially taking this task on.  I had forced myself to a "daily comment" requirement on 38 separate questions posed to Krishnamurti.  When i wrote The Road to Enlightenment (in a 7-day period), i pretty much wiped myself out in the process.

I must admit that after 31 days of Krishnamurti i am pretty worn down, but nowhere near what i feared at the beginning.  My sleep has gotten all messed up, partly due to an injury and partly due to the stress of writing, but overall, i have adjusted.  Instead of getting 8 hours sleep using two different times of the day, i am now getting 8 hours of sleep using 4 different times of the day.  It's kind of a new, weird schedule that i am on now.

I probably watch ten or fifteen minutes of "el trumpo" related material, but that is about all that i can take, so i have significantly reduced my "negative" input and life is good despite how we are being led down some path that looks rather dark and dreary.

ps2.  But that is how the world turns.  Americans just cannot get enough of their "Golden Idol" and "his friends".  Go figure.

Trump is more interested in using Trade Wars as a negotiating tool (or hammer) to get his way (e.g. get Mexico and Canada to more actively patrol their border, or get Colombia to accept deported immigrants), rather than actually having a trade war.

Every fool has their reason. I wonder what he is scared about. Oh, no. More "illegal immigrants" that essentially keep our economy flourishing working for wages unacceptable by his white majority. Keep them coming, Dick, because the "trade wars" are bad for everyone. Let's see how the markets react today. That should tell us something.
