My typical source for "breaking news" is MSNBC--although i do use other sources to fact check MSNBC.
Anyway, here is how Mika Scarborough presented the news this morning, after earlier having spent about fifteen minutes on yesterday's Jan 6 Committee Hearing. Mika said that there are three other things happening in the news that everyone needs to be aware of: these three were the following:
(1) issues relating to the abortion issue;
(2) the trailer in Texas filled with dead Hispanics; and
(3) the bombing of the Ukrainian maul by Russia
Okay, all right. I can accept each of those things deserving of some attention, but what about the new news that Finland and Sweden were joining NATO? Isn't that news even more important news than the three you just named, Mika?
No wonder that everyone goes around moping (democrats and republicans alike). It seems like everywhere we turn the bad news is highlighted over the very good news.
I've always felt that Mika needed to get a little different perspective than the one she learned at her private girl schools, but come on now, Mika, let's start getting real.
Also, did they say nothing on the bombshell testimony from Hutchinson yesterday?
Is "small" spelled as "maul" on purpose? Like a play on words?
