God, Guns, and Trump

Date: Tuesday, March 28, 2023 7:26 AM EST

Three days ago there was a rally held in Waco, Texas with the theme:  "God, Guns, and Trump".

Yesterday, there was another mass shooting in the United States with innocent children (the innocent adjective is an assumption on my part) being killed in their classroom.

Colorado representative  Lauren Boebert joked to her Christian audience last week, saying, "Jesus didn't have enough AR-15 rifles to "keep his government from killing him."

Tennessee's U.S. representative for the district where yesterday's shooting took place sent the following picture out to his backers last Christmas with the following message.  "MERRY CHRISTMAS! The Ogles Family," the post reads, adding in quotes: "The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good."

Personally, i think it is time to start putting a video together with a montage of photos that show the actual physical result to a child's body from an AR-15.  We have probably an hour's worth of photos that could be used.  Then we should make all those representatives that continue to back the laissez-faire treatment of guns, watch the video next Christmas before their kids are allowed to open their presents (which probably in some cases would include an AR-15).

Just the way the above representative's family looks (all google-eyed with such loving grins) i think they should be "red flagged" and their guns absconded.

And after yesterday's mass shooting, the above representative said, "there is nothing that could have been done to stop the shooting."

ps.  I guess i need to go back and read my Christian Bible.  I missed the part where God and Jesus supported free and easy gun policy that is used to kill children.  I thought Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  Well, i think yesterday, three young soles were sent to heaven.  And gun advocates think that God is supposed to be happy about that?  Go figure.

ps1.  I think even God would say, "enough is enough."

Fox News seemed to care more that the shooter was trans, than the fact that 6 people were killed, including 3 kids.  Shameful.

Yes, i know.  I turned to see how they handled it and like you said, they sure wanted to make the point that it was a "trans" shooter.  Not on purpose, but i watched the full hour of Tucker Carlson and the first half-hour of Sean Hannity last night.  They make you think you ought to buy a gun and shoot yourself.

Tucker is completely detached from reality.  He breathes lies like others breathe air.  No wonder he likes Trump so much.
