As a result of the non-success of my new book, Globanomics, i changed the book's category on Amazon from non-fiction to science fiction. I simply want to see if it makes a difference. The title might just grab some sci-fi guy's attention. The title sure hasn't caught anyone's attention sitting in the non-fiction category.
In the nineteen days since i published Globanomics, including the nine days since i received my own paperback copy, the book has received "zero" reviews, nada, nothing, absolutely zilch. I thought of doing a review myself just to see if the "review thing" even worked.
Neither in those nineteen days have i received a single comment on the book from my Talkmarkets' followers. Zero, nada, nothing, absolutely zilch.
Neither in those nineteen days have i been successful with Talkmarkets' management. In fact, even an article submission was rejected.
Neither in those nineteen days have i heard from any friends, colleagues, or family regarding the book.
To date, Globanomics is the biggest egg i have laid, and i have laid a lot of eggs in the past.
Do you know what disturbs me the most regarding the above? It's the two middle items. I could give a f--- about the reviews, and my friends and colleagues will always remain friends and colleagues. That is not the case with Talkmarkets.
That's because none of us have read the book. How can we review a book we did not read?
I see you get my point.
You might want to include a link to your book. Then I'd be more likely to read it. But I couldn't in good conscience write a review for a book I have not read.
Here is the link:
Globanomics: (Love, Freedom, and Understanding): Boswell, Jim: 9798760225986: Amazon.com: Books
Thank you, I'd be interested in seeing the book, but that's not a link. That's a title. It's a lot less work for people, and actually helps drive traffic to your book, if you include a direct link. I've added it if for you below in case others are interested in reading it as well:
Globanimics by Jim Boswell
