A Little Talkmarkets History

Date: Saturday, November 27, 2021 6:37 AM EDT

On November 7, 2021 i wrote a post in Talkmarkets with the subject title--Globanomics Was Self-Published Yesterday, 11/6/2021.  Within that post, i had links to both the "kindle" and the "paperback" version of Globanomics.  That particular post showed that it had received 21 views (subtract 1,2,3 from that number because they are probably my own, but that is about the number of my real Talkmarkets audience).  I might add here that that view number is up from the 4-5 average views my posts were receiving over the summer.

Since that date about three weeks ago, i have written nearly sixty other Talkmarkets posts most of which dealt with this same subject (my book, Globanomics) in one way or another.  And most had about the same number of views (around 20).  Then yesterday, nineteen days after the post i mentioned above, an angry old lady from Talkmarkets told me that no one had read my book.

Prior to November 7, 2021--the publication date for my book--i had provided Talkmarkets with almost everything i put in the book.  To be specific, Talkmarkets received on:

November 3, 2021--Freedom vs. Authoritarianism in Globanomics (17 views)

November 2, 2021--Globanomics Chapter on the World Federation (6 views)

October 29, 2021--Worth a Read--Globanomics Chapter on the EGSB (27 views)

October 27, 2021--Buttigieg Pipeline Section of Globanomics Book (23 views)

October 26, 2021--Universal Health Care (22 views)

October 20, 2021--Another Poetic Sutra and Globanomics--Chapter 3 (34 views)

October 16, 2021--The Preface to Globanomics (30 views)

October 14, 2021--A Preview Sample of Globanomics (23 views)

October 8, 2021--My Sci-Fi Chaotic World (28 views)

Essentially that is the entire book with the following exceptions: Chapter 2--Humankind; Chapter 4--National Hierarchy of Needs; Chapter 5--Performance Evaluation Report Card (PERC) methodology; and Chapter 10--Love, Freedom, and Understanding.

I had talked about much of that stuff before and i didn't think that Talkmarkets needed to be updated on those chapters.  Plus i didn't want Talkmarkets to get everything because i thought they should pay for seeing the entire book rather than giving them everything totally for free.

And now i sit here, having to listen to some angry old lady in Talkmarkets tell me that no one has read my new book, Globanomics.  I take it that the angry old lady was not one of the viewers of the posts i show above, which kind of surprises me.  Why?  Because of all of my viewers and commenters on my posts, i hear more from the same "angry old lady" than i do from my other followers.

ps. as an analyst i depend upon numbers to help me segregate the truth from conjecture.  Looking at the above numbers and data, it has always surprised me how few views my "World Federation" post received.  It's the anomaly in the above.  It's like that chapter was viewed differently than the other chapters.  I have a theory for that anomaly, but i will save that for later.

I may be an angry old lady, but I'm not rude.  I was just explaining that your book just came out and we did not know how to find it. You seemed upset that you have no reviews yet.   I suspect many would be interested in reading it, but we can't review it before we've read it.

You seem to take offense quite easily and then attack those who are trying to help you.  So that makes you the rude one, not me. That's not a good way to make friends, get followers, or fans.  It just turns people against you and then they'll never hear your ideas.  I think I won't be reading your book after all. And I was about to buy it too!
