I think there will still be lots of surprises. It is such an unprecedented time, and there is still so much we don't know about COVID-19. Throw in the volatility of the Black Lives movement, the protests, the riots, the calls to defund the police, the move to create autonomous zones like CHOP, not to mention the unpredictability of Trump himself... who knows what will happen.
People do need to pivot and adapt. It would be foolish as a new graduate, to apply for a job in an industry that has laid off millions. You will be competing with countless others with far more experience who are desperate for work. Yet, being a recent graduate, you are far more able to apply for an entry level position in one of the industries are growing.
It really depends on the industry/sector. Some will fare better than others. Tech is a great field to be in now as many tech companies are experiencing record growth as many users are forced to utilized technologies in ways they never did before. Others like the travel industry will take years to recover.
Unless of course there is a massive 2nd wave as a result of these protests - it can take weeks for symptoms to show. And most people are completely asymptomatic the entire time - in fact #GeorgeFloyd himself tested positive for #COVID19 during his autopsy.
Agreed that it is a long runaway up before its time to think about exiting one of the best trades in the market. like he said in the video, the debt binge has fundamentally changed #gold’s Value as a store of value higher.
