Sometimes an entity has such a damaged reputation that it chooses to change names in an effort to escape that stain. Such it is with facebook now. I see it as similar to a dope pusher outside the schoolyard, what benfit might it possibly provide to other than those profiting from it's actions??
To make natural gas matters worse, an idiot gas company in California is once again putting much more methane into those leaky underground storage fields that had such a disaster last year. And he stupid part is that the EPA is doing nothing to stop them. The result will once again be massive pollution PLUS the loss of a whole lot of needed fuel. And yet the California emissions rules for cars are very tight, while allowing storage in leaky underground sites is accepted. Certainly an unwise move for multiple reasons.
For those petroleum speculators: I wish them "lots of luck" and every bit of it BAD!!Driving fuel prices up is not what we need right now, or ever, for that matter.
It is the devaluation of our money that results in less ability to purchase what we need that is the damage caused by infltion, no matter how many words are presented. And the damage is quick, it happens in just a few hours, while any claimed "inflation of incomes"arrives much more slowly, if it ever does happen at all. The problem there is that most of the lower 50% or so are unable to increase their incomes conveniently, and so the injury is done to them, some injured worse than others. So while a blizardof explanation obscures the results, how much does it matter if the actor causing the injury is named what we think, or not?
And when I voted Tuesday morning there was only one person in line ahead of me. So evidently the interest was different. Or I picked exactly the right moment to vote?
It must be nice, beng able to play around with lots of money that one can painlessly afford to lose. I do not sit in that crowd. Those "almost rule free" currencies seem to be just a plaything, except not quite. What will happen if there wind up being a score of alternative currency types? I see at least a bunch of confusion. Sort of like the US currency prior to the creation of the treasury department.
So the show will be interesting to watch, and adventuresome to participate in.
And if not as extreme as being homeless, certainly being in a situation where some things are just no longer affordable. Painful and unhappy times, but not all the way to homeless.
