This Explosion Of Bankruptcies And Layoffs In The United States Is Unlike Anything We Have Ever Seen Before
4 years ago

This article is quite disturbing and unfortunately also quite correct. The effects of the vast closure are devastating and not like anything else in recent history. What has made things far worse is that the federal banking team has been making wrong choices for many years and those incorrect choices have been a cumulative toxin all along. In addition, and hindsight, many governments have made a number of fatal errors very early in the game. It is now clear that closing the borders the first day would have made a big difference.

So while the economy is slowed and individuals are seeing devastating job losses, the proposed fix is huge amounts of relief payments to both people and companies, which will then leave us with hard to even conceive of levels of government debt.

Some have proposed that a new crypto digital currency is a solution, but it looks to me as rather a transfer of power to others and not any salvation at all.

Uber: Long-Term Growth But The Stock Is Not A Buy Now
4 years ago

Interesting indeed about UBER. But what was not mentioned is the ongoing fight about the classification of the drivers as employees or independent contractors. That will make a large change in expenses, and quite probably result in the formation of a union if they are employees. It would certainly change a whole lot about the business.

So certainly UBER is presently a growth stock, BUT things may change.

In addition to "all of those things that will be with us for years" there is one more thing, not mentioned. But it will not be like the stereotypical monkey on our back, it will be more like an ELEPHANT ON OUR BACK. That is the classic problem with debt, which is that it needs to be paid off some day.

Interesting and educational. F.A. is building up a portfolio. Will these stocks then be purchased, or already bought, and the result be a fund that folks may invest in? Pardon my asking but that is the appearance and with complete truth in advertising that is fine. And probably it is OK for an individual to share the results of their due diligence with us as a form of advertising.

Monetary And Economic Financial Reset

This extensive article is quite horribly depressing in many aspects. The very worst part is that I find nothing to challenge as incorrect, at least for the vast majority of the writing. Certainly the criticism of the fed is correct, although I lay the blame more toward greed than to incompetence.

The problem with debt will be at least as bad as projected, with the alternative of default not being an option this time.

And still, "The Big Fool Says To Push On", taking a line from a sixties protest ballad.

Interesting. But I question which is cause and which is effect. Does the economy and the market effect the people's choices or is it that the people's choices effect the market?
