E Daily Stock Analysis: Enterprise Product Partners

A new portfolio of stocks I started building September 8, at a one stock per week pace for the next year, is named Vista.  I will select its fourth stock this coming weekend. Vista is the sixth portfolio I've built (at a one dividend dog per-week pace) since 2014. Six portfolios = VI for Vista!

Vista is planned to Look Ahead for Outstanding, Proven, Dividend Winners. (Like Aristocrats)

Today we'll review the second of five energy sector stock candidates vying to be that fourth selection in the Vista portfolio.

My subject today is another large-cap oil and gas midstream firm. This one is named, Enterprise Products Partners LP. Its trading ticker symbol is EPD.  This is my first report on Enterprise Products Partners LP for this Vista dog of the week portfolio. I did review it for Volio, also.

Enterprise Products Partners is a master limited partnership that transports and processes natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals.

It is one of the largest midstream companies, with operations servicing most producing regions in the Lower 48 states. Enterprise is particularly dominant in the NGL market and is one of the few MLPs that provide midstream services across the full hydrocarbon value chain.

The company was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.

I use three key data points to gauge dividend equities or funds like Enterprise Products Partners LP:

(1) Price

(2) Dividends

(3) Returns

Those three basic keys best tell whether a company has made, is making, and will make money.

EPD Price

Enterprise's price per share closed at $16.04 yesterday. A year ago its price was $28.58. Price fell $12.54 or almost 44% last year.

If Enterprise's stock trades in the range of $12 to $24 this next year, its recent $16.04. price might rise by $3.96 to reach $20.00 by September 29, 2021.

EPD Dividends

Enterprise's most recently declared quarterly dividend was $0.445 paid August 12th. It will total $1.78 annually and yield 11.10% at yesterday's $16.04 closing price.

Interesting and educational. F.A. is building up a portfolio. Will these stocks then be purchased, or already bought, and the result be a fund that folks may invest in? Pardon my asking but that is the appearance and with complete truth in advertising that is fine. And probably it is OK for an individual to share the results of their due diligence with us as a form of advertising.
