The funny thing about conspiracies... people can make up the most ridiculous lies with absolutely no truth to them, state them as fact and as proof, slap the label "conspiracy" on it. Saying it is a conspiracy doesn't actually make any of this true.
At first I thought it was a bit over optimistic but the more research I've done, it certainly does look like India is an ideal investment opportunity, yet often overshadowed by China. This article has further convinced me that it is in fact the case.
