I'd say it was a major fail from a customer perspective. Coupons codes didn't work items couldn't be added to carts, sales were only so-so. The few items I wanted, I wasn't able to buy. And having to sort through "over 100,000 sale items) that were on sale by a $1 or $2 proved to be very tedious. #PrimeDayFail $AMZN

Yes, but a LOT of customers likely won't have their receipts anymore and/or gave the item as a gift. They'll be out of luck and pretty angry to boot.

This is actually largely ineffective since anyone who has their house demolished tends to get large payments from Hamas, Iran, etc. Saddam Hussein was big on this - he'd send what amounted to a small fortune in Palestine to the families of suicide bombers. This unfortunately led some people to murder innocents for the financial incentive rather than any ideological belief. Money from #oil and even narcotics often ends up funding terrorism.
