If we open up the economy, but everyone is either too sick to work, or too afraid to go out, the economy will be destroyed anyway, AND people will die. I agree with @[Jim Boswell](user:38046).

Don't you realize that you could literally cause people to die? Are you so sure it's a hoax that are fine with those deaths being on your head? I hope as the situation has worsened in the US, you now realize you were mistaken!

Italy is a mystery - it's death rate is more than double the rest of the world and keeps rising. I read almost 400 people died there yesterday alone.

It's interesting that the death rate does seem to vary greatly by location. In Italy I read it's now over 7%, quite high with nearly 400 deaths per day, though admittedly they do have a large percentage of elderly. It's higher in Iran as well, possibly due to an inferior medical system.
