COVID-19 has been a boom for tech companies. So many people that have never dabbled in anything hi-tech before were forced to. Many have now shopped online for the first time, utilized remote communication options like Zoom, purchased groceries online, utilized new services like instacart and more. Now that they are past the initial hurdle, many will likely continue to use these services going forward.
There's still so much we don't know and so much conflicting info. I wonder how long it will be until we can look back with confidence and know the truth about all this.
While nothing to do specifically with Africa, I've read about lots of governments and organizations sponsoring chartered flights to help with various COVID-19 related issues. Perhaps something like this could be done.
