It will turn but it will be a while. To eradicate it we need therapeutics that kill the virus. The vaccines suppress it but doesn't insure the virus is eliminated and the length of immunity is not expected to last over 2 years if that. Also RNA vaccines are new so who knows their long term ramifications.

Unemployment Claims Jump To Highest Level Since September
4 years ago

Don't expect unemployment claims to drop off unless there is an artificial mechanism to stop or deny people. The employment environment has not improved markedly and SME businesses continue to go under or shrink in size. Global trade improvement is the brightest short term hope to begin to reverse this next year.

Yes the elderly are being hit the worst and there seems to be little care about them in Washington. Sadly they aren't the hot demographic politicians are after.

Bitcoin BTC Technical Analysis - Elliott Wave

New coin issues have dried up slowing the depreciation of all crypto save Bitcoin and inflation has risen. I think this is the biggest drivers, not the expectation governments will issue more coin, which will be adverse to other cryptos for the same reason the 100s of crypto currencies already issued supressed bitcoins rise for quite a while. Likewise, it seems pretty clear no one ever intends to use cryptos for much else than hording, speculation, and shuffling money around. The fact that banks are going to create a regulatory infrastructure that will potentially not make them much more free than cash. That is also negative.

Anyways we will see what will happen especially when more is no longer being made and they figure out who's going to pay the massive electric bill for transaction costs. There is not a well though out plan for this transition.

COVID Vaccines And The Stock Market

What we need to do is work with and advance research in treating those that catch the disease or currently have it. They seem to be a lost voice in all this. This may be a case where treatment beats a "cure" much like the flu. We need to prevent it from being fatal and address the people suffering from heart issues, strokes, etc. from Covid who are often not counted or treated correctly by our system. Covid has killed more people than we currently acknowledge.

COVID Vaccines And The Stock Market

That's because taking more than 2 doses of a vaccine makes it ineffective for taking it for a few years. I would like to see science and proof of its effectiveness and longevity. The push to rush it makes many like me more doubtful of what they claim.

COVID Vaccines And The Stock Market

It is doubtful they will eradicate the virus, especially since they are designed to prevent the infection from spreading an a person not killing the virus and none are close to 100% effective. As I know, there are no studies to say if any of the vaccines prevent transmission if one with the vaccine gets Covid. I figure that whatever vaccine is used will lead to mutations and be ineffective rapidly.

Sadly with the case counts rising to new levels and the government doing nothing until a new administration besides trying to start a war in Iran it will be a while.

Countries can do about anything as long as their government says they can. Doing it safely for its citizens is another question.
