Market Disorder
Trump has added instability to the market for a long time. I don't believe any weakness is due to his illness and it may even spare us from more debate antics. It is indeed bad for Republican hopes this coming election. Biden, strangely enough, is a candidate representing more stability.
Energy Report: Demand Fear Funk
Asian demand is good. It all depends on the Covid issue being solved. I'm hoping a therapeutic will keep most people out of the emergency room like CYDY but that also seems slow and the company chose to get approval for critical and severe patients over mild to moderate due to the amount of time it would take with the FDA. This may be a while as well even if Trump gets some.

Energy Report: Demand Fear Funk
The jump in natural gas is good but it still has a ways to go given it has fallen so hard.
Scenarios Ahead Of The U.S. Election
The stock market worry is that the election will be pulled into a mess over a contended result exposing the courts and the mess that would be a Congressional decision with Pelosi as a possible interim President. Given Trumps financially dire situation and possible legal woes this is a possibility that can't be discounted. Any regular election result that isn't contested will buoy the market.
If Biden wins big techs and clean energy stocks will rise. If Trump wins banks and small oil may rally. The election shouldn't have a big stock market effect unless the scenario above plays out. If violence erupts over a contested election the market will dive as will if the public vote over the election is overturned.
Handicapping The Q3 Earnings Season - Friday, Sep. 25
With Covid numbers going up, I would not count on big upturns next quarter. We are still a ways from dealing with this in a manner we can say the outbreak is under control.
How’s That Recovery Going?
The US's unemployment rate is artificially manipulated down. Look at the total population working or the number of partially employed to help rectify how bad off the US laborers (or want to be workers) really are.
Reaching The End Of Early Stimulus – What’s Ahead?
In California it will be forced legally. Still they will need more gas or LNG to generate the electricity.
"Inflation Is Already Here": The Fed May Have A Major Problem On Its Hands
As many realized years ago things we need have been rising despite the Fed and their statistics games lying about it otherwise. Living expenses including property prices and their taxes have risen astoundingly, healthcare costs have skyrocketed including prescription drugs, education is out of control, and food prices rose as we tried to encourage renewable energy by replacing the crops we eat with crops to make ethanol to clog up our gas tanks rather than discouraging consumption.
While we gage hamburger being as cheap as steak was to show mild inflation, the government has been constantly under representing everything we need and replacing it with things that mainly technology makes cheaper like call phones and refrigerators. Maybe the only big victory over inflation that we actually need is clothing which will rise as we now fight trade wars with the countries that provided a lot of our goods for selling to us implying somehow that meeting our needs is unfair.

Profit growth is more important than capitalization, however, it is very useful comparing it to capitalization, thanks.
