Silver Price And Silver To Gold Price Ratio Have Acted As Expected

In April of 2025, I wrote a post about the price of silver and the silver-to-gold price ratio: Silver To Gold Price Ratio Near All-Time Low | TalkMarkets

I pointed out the cup and handle pattern in the silver price and mentioned it seemed like the price was setting itself up for a vertical launch or thrust to the upside. I also pointed out how low the silver-to-gold price ratio had become and mentioned that if the price of silver were to begin to accelerate to the upside, I expected it to outperform the price of gold.

My analysis turned out to be correct and, in fact, was spot on - as evidenced by the graphs below. Since then, silver´s price has risen from $33 to above $92 per ounce (currently at $88), or about 179 per cent, while gold´s price has risen about 40 per cent, resulting in the price ratio rising from 1.0 to 2.0.
